But first… some basics.
Some try to learn guitar Songs by searching for free guitar lessons online, and other random methods. While there are some good snippets of Beginner free guitar lessons online, as well as some pretty good videos on Youtube… These are just going to give you a few little pieces of the puzzle, and not the whole picture. You won’t learn much about Reading Guitar Tablature or even basic guitar music tablature that will become necessary to become a Rock Guitarist a Studio Musician, Classical Guitarist, or Jazz guitarist. These genres all require that to become a professional…you will need to learn guitar pro tablature.
Think of it this way… When I was in school I took keyboard typing. I wasn’t thrilled about it, and I could not see any real world application or use for these skills. So I learned to type my own way and now… my one or two fingers, are busier than a one legged man doing a tap dance!
I could never be a good typist without going back and painfully learning brand new techniques.

Learn & Master Guitar is the Premier Course of guitar lesson training anywhere other than personal one-on one lessons in your community. It provides ten DVDs, five jam-along CDs and a 108 page book. Although higher priced than others, you definitely get what you pay for here. And if you’re serious about learning to play the guitar the right way, this course will be hard to beat!. It is packed with superb high-quality teaching content — with access to the website, high quality video production, as well as real pro players in the the Jam-Along CDs.
A great feature is that it provides Guitar training lessons in a variety of musical styles and it takes you from beginner guitar lessons on to very advanced Guitar tablature instruction. The lessons are set up with a clear and easy to follow structure and the course teacher communicates very naturally in a manner that makes it easy to follow and progress faster. The Jam-Along CDs…. make it easy to play along while you learn guitar songs… and also makes the lesson a blast to learn! Most other other courses do not offer these distinct features. As a guitar Pro myself… I have recommended this to many of my friends and some family members.

Jamorama is considered to be the top pick of the lower-cost, guitar tablature software or computer based Training (CBT) in guitar music lessons. Guitar Super Stars is the next best choice. This course is again a down-loadable and computer-based Easy Guitar Learning course. This course may not be quite as in depth or have as many features as our other top picks do, but it offers a unique experience in learning to play the guitar. It may be quite helpful for many who like a visual learning experience with the benefit of it’s videos and with the unique approach to learning guitar that is offered with it…. and if you want to learn to play the guitar in many different styles or (genres)… then… Guitar Super Stars might be the right choice for you.
Review Summary: Although Guitar Super Stars does not seem to be as thorough a training course as the first two picks, it has some very unique features not found in the other learn guitar courses, and it may be the best choice for someone requiring a more visual approach to learning to play the guitar. Jamorama Acoustic
Jamarama Acoustic is a course created by it’s originators to fill in the gaps in their first predominately Electric Guitar learning course. there may be areas in musical theory that the first course does not go into depth on.
Playing the Acoustic guitar for classical music, Country Music, or Smooth jazz … requires a different approach to Guitar Tablature. The “Guitar Tabs” or “Guitar Tablature” is the term used to describe the music theory behind reading music . Understanding guitar tablature is very important if you want to make your living as a guitar musician when the music genre is more dependant on many chord and key changes. Electric guitar players can eventually become limited and have a sort of “tunnel vision” when it comes to adapting to new music.
For instance if your are interested in blues guitar tablature, this course will teach you how to correctly read guitar Tabs and music to eventually become employed by many different blues guitar bands, classical orchestras, contemporary christian, and jazz bands.
This course focuses more on some easy guitar tablature training to help you become proficient reading music in any genre. This may not be offered with many of the computer-based down-loadable courses, but for some students this is not a concern when first starting out as a beginning guitar player. You can supplement your training materials with guitar tablature books… if you want to consider one of the other courses here on our list of preferred learn to play guitar courses.
So… if learning Acoustic guitar music tablature is important to you… then this may be the right course for you!
